The gym users here could do with being a tad more civic-minded; used clothes and towels left hanging in the cubicles or on the changing room floor when the return point is just a few steps away. Supposedly a premium gym but I guess this just lends support to the adage of money can't buy class. Edit: no noticeable improvements as of mid Sep'23. Male changing room still as gross as ever during peak periods. Rated 3 stars initially but have updated to 1 star as no effort has been made to correct this recalcitrant behaviour. Second edit: This particular club continues its steady decline. With the revamp they've actually made things worse by shifting the incline benches away from the mirrors. How will newbies check their form, and how will musclemen admire their muscles now? Come on, stop tinkering around it doesn't take a genius to run a gym.

Virgin Active has been my go-to fitness haven, and I can't praise my trainer, Jimmy, enough. From bouncing back after an injury to unraveling core fitness forgotten basics like bracing and tempo, Jimmy's been the MVP. His patience and hands-on guidance, not to mention those regular check-ins, make every workout feel like a tailored experience. Whether it's a morning boost or an evening wind-down, Virgin Active, with Jimmy on the team, is the perfect place to be.

Much appreciated.] The gym mentioned about upgrading their shower rooms - closed for a couple of weeks and reopened, and to be found out that only deep cleaning was done, as we noted the cracked glass in one of the shower rooms was not even replaced. Which further leads us to think that the gym never clean the shower rooms thoroughly, and deem deep cleaning as "upgrading". Besides that, the shower water from shower stalls always flow to their opposite. As usual, the gym equipment are not at tip top condition and especially lack of 4kg dumb bells. Honestly, is the gym going to shrink its area? Almost half of it is closed.

I am deeply disappointed by the level of customer service I have experienced. My contract expired, and my sole contact was through an email that resembled a generic spam message, causing me to overlook it. When I inquired as to why I hadn't been contacted by a relationship consultant or received an SMS notification, I was informed that email was the primary mode of communication with clients. However, this assertion was clearly inaccurate, as I promptly received an SMS when my payment was overdue on a previous occasion. Furthermore, the relationship consultant assigned to me departed and was never replaced. I was also told that the recurring payment after the contract expired was a part of the contract. While I totally accept this, I also expected customer service, even though it was not specifically stipulated in the contract. I was also not advised about ongoing promotions, that would have waived off my fees. Instead, Virgin was only interested in chasing me for my dues via SMS. I made several attempts to reach out to the relationship consultant team over the course of four days in order to obtain an update and request a follow-up, even leaving multiple callback request. Shockingly, the relationship consultants were consistently "unavailable" and declined to answer my calls for four consecutive days. This left the front desk staff struggling to compensate for their absence. The term "relationship consultant" appeared to be merely a superficial title, as they simply vanished after the initial signup process. Lack of service resulted in additional costs incurred and I was advised that this was part of the contract and that it is their right to charge the fees. For a club charging premium fees, this is shockingly poor customer service especially given the conditions of the equipment in the club. Update: was contacted only after i put in a cancellation request and no effort was made to answer the lack of servicing. She only knew how to offer me a new contract again.
